Lana, the modern village with numerous cultural events for young and old, is found in close proximity to Merano and the entrance to the “Ultental” as well as below the “Vigiljoch”. This area and its people are no longer a secret, due to the appealing countryside and great hospitality.
South Tyrol has many museums, worth seeing castles and fortresses as well as churches and chapels that you are able visit. If you come towards the end of summer you can consider trying delicious apples from our far reaching orchards. From South Tyrol there is a great assortment of wines that you can try in the local wine shop.

Depending on the month of the year Lana offers a great amount of entertainment possibilities. Like the blossom festival in April, the wild-herb week and mountain-bike camps in May, the international volley-ball tournament, the long Thursdays in summer, the natural spa “Gargazon”, open-air theatres, pumpkin days, “Lanaphil”, “Ketschn–Riggl” (chestnut days in Völlan) and the children summer for the small ones.
